Habe ein Problem beim füllen von Formularfeldern mit Strings aus einer Datenbank.

echo "<input type=\"text\" size=\"50\" name=\"event\" value=\"$row->event\">

Das hier liest mir den String auch soweit in das Feld ein, aber nur bis zu dem Zeichen, wo in dem abgespeicherten String ein Anführungszeichen (") auftaucht. Danach nix mehr.

Wie bekomme ich den ganzen String?

Bei einer einfachen Ausgabe mit echo bekomme ich den ganzen String.

Du musst den Test noch passend für die HTML-Ausgabe aufbereiten: Dir hilft htmlentities()

echo "<input type=\"text\" size=\"50\" name=\"event\" value=\"".htmlentities($row->event)."\">
