Centura 1.5 und cQOEmail

Hallo @ all,

ich weis der Betreff sagt vielen nichts aber diejenigen die mit Centura programmieren wissen evt um was es geht.

Ich möchte mir eine eMail Funktionalität in mein Programm integrieren. Dazu leite ich eine Klasse von oben genannter Klasse ab.

bei der Funktion EmailSendMessage() gibt es einen Parameter nPriority. Dieser "setzt" die Wichtigkeit der Email die in Outlook als ein blauer Pfeil nach unten (für Wichtigkeit: Niedrig) bzw als ein roter Pfeil nach oben (für Wichtigkeit: Hoch) dargestellt wird.

Nun zu meiner Frage: Weis jemand den Wert den man für Niedrig bzw Hoch übergeben muss? Habe schon das gesamte Forum und Guptasoft.com durchwühlt aber leider nichs gefunden!!!

Ich häng dir mal die 3.0er Hilfe an, sagt aber auch nix Neues dazu.

Probier die Werte zwischen 0 und 3 beziehungsweise 1 und 4, dann siehst du es.

Entweder mit Set nPriority = 0 oder direkt in der emailFunktion, wenn er da nicht meckert, dass das Argument eine Variable sein muss.

bAllowEmailInterface Boolean. If TRUE, the mail user interface is presented with the message allowing the user to edit before sending.

sSubject String. The message subject.

sText String. The text or body of the message.

sToRecips String. A comma-delimited list of TO recipients.

sCCRecips String. A comma-delimited list of CC recipients.

sBCCRecips String. A comma-delimited list of BCC recipients.

sAttachments String. A comma-delimited list of attachments.

nPriority Number. The message priority.

bRetReceipt Boolean. TRUE if a return receipt is requested.

Use the property pages displayed in this dialog box to set up the properties for the selected cQuickEMail object. The property pages are described below.

Styles property page

Option Description

User Default UI Displays the mail user interface when sending messages or logging in.

Populate on Create Receives only the unread messages. If you leave this box unchecked, the user will receive all the messages.

Unread messages only QuickMail finds unread messages only when populating the data source.

Fetch message in order received Fetches messages in the order they are received.

Use default profile in logon The MAPI provider logs in using the default profile. If not selected, the user is not prompted to select an explicit profile at login.

Confirm on delete message Provides a message confirmation when a message is deleted.

Confirm on send message Provides a message confirmation when a message is sent.

Force a new MAPI session Forces a new MAPI session: Note that a new MAPI session is established even if shared sessions are available.

Download mail at logon Downloads mail at logon: The MAPI provider downloads any new messages before returning from the login call.

Allow others to share MAPI session Marks the MAPI session shareable, allowing other applications to use its connection to the MAPI provider.

Clear on logout Clears mail messages on logout. If you leave this box unchecked, the messages remain but users cannot reply until they log in.

Address property page

Option Description

Dialog Caption Enter a title for the dialog box. The default title is Address Message and is already filled in for you.

Recipient Classes/Labels Browse Only: Allows browsing of the address list only.

To: Allows the user to select "To" recipients. You can also set the label to be used with the "To" recipient class. The default label is "To".

To Label: Enter the string to be used as an edit control label in the address-list dialog box. This option is valid only if you select the "To" recipient class. If other recipient classes are present in the recipient list, this value is ignored.

To, CC: Allows the user to select "To" and "CC" recipients. The for the "To" recipients is ignored with this option.

To, CC, BCC: Allows the user to select "To", "CC" and "BCC" recipients. The label for the "To" recipients is ignored with this option.

Custom Message property page

Option Description

Message Type EForm: Sends the contents of a form via eMail. Such messages can be read only by another EForm application. The message type is used to match EForm senders and recipients

Person to Person: Identifies an interpersonal message type (a message between two or more individuals, which appears in the recipient's inbox).

Process to Process: Identifies an interprocess communication message, which does not appear in the user's Inbox but is accessible by other applications through MAPI.

Message type to be created Displays the actual MAPI message type that is used depending upon the selections made in the Message Type group box. You cannot change this field directly.

Message Class Vendor: Specifies the company or individual creating the message class. For example, "Gupta" is the vendor of a message class created by Gupta Technologies LLC.

Subclass: This option identifies the vendor-specified name of the message class. For example, if the message type is an invoice, the subclass is "Invoice". When using EForms, you may want to include a version in the subclass such as "Invoice1".

Output Format property page

Option Description

Message Format Enter the format, as a string, to be applied to outgoing messages. You can include variables and child windows using bind variable syntax from the Bind Variables list box. For example, :dfsName. Note that the message is limited to 32K. If you users want to send a longer message, you must write it to file and attach it to the message.

Bind Variables Use this list box to select bind variables to be included in the message.

erstmal danke für die Antwort!

Habe schon die Werte (-1) bis 10 (Für nPriority) probiert hat allerdings keine Wirkung auf die in Outlook angezeigte Priorität, leider.

Der erste Teil der Hilfe ist identisch mit der aus 1.5... aber der Tip mit den 32k als max. für die Nachricht habe ich direkt umgesetzt

Hast du evt noch ne Idee wo man sowas nachlesen könnte?

(btw: weist du wo ich eine Lizens für Centura 1.5 inkl. Report Builder herbekomme? Würde gerne auch in der Freizeit mit Centura programmieren!)

also für 4337€ bekommst du bei www.md-consulting.de eine aktuelle 3.1er Lizenz.

Bischen viel für die Freizeit.....

Ja den Preis für die aktuelle Version würde ich nicht gerade bezahlen wollen

Dachte halt das es evt eine frühere Version für weniger Geld gibt.
