HP Unattended !

Hallo habe mal wieder nee frage hat schonmal jemand was von eine HP Unattended installation gehört? Findes im Netz nicht so richtig was dazu!

Also wenn ich das so lese scheint es mir um HP Workstations zu gehen wo man anhand eines Images und sysprep.exe eine Unattended Installation druchführt...

Oder liege ich total falsch??

Wenn ich richtig liege dann suche mal nach "Automatisierter Windows Installation" oder "sysprep" oder "Windows Unattended".

Ändert aber nichts am Prinzip. Du suchst nach HP SmartStart. Dazu findet man durchaus "richtiges" im Netz. Wahrscheinlich würde Dich http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/toolkit/ interessieren.

Naja das hp smartstart Paket ist nur da um den Server normal zu installieren! Aber dür die Unattended version braucht man das SmartStart Scripting Toolkit! Ist das Thema überhaupt was als Abschlußprojekt?

also ich habe das in einem HP PDF gefunden

Unattended server deployment

Using the capabilities of iLO with its Virtual Media, the SmartStart Scripting Toolkit, and a network share drive, administrators can deploy a server in a completely unattended fashion (Figure 4).

For example, the administrator configures a source server. Then using the SmartStart Scripting Toolkit, the administrator builds a configuration (boot) diskette with script files. This diskette is inserted into a local management workstation, and the administrator logs into the iLO device in the target server. Using the Virtual Floppy functionality of iLO, the administrator can reboot the target server to the Virtual Floppy and run the script file. If the OS image is stored on a network share drive, the administrator can install the complete OS and applications from the share drive.

Doch verstehte ich nicht source server ( Quellserver ) benötigt wird! Obwohl das OS vom share drive geholt wird! Habe ich ein denkfehler?
